MICK APPLEBY RACING CLUB
Welcome to the Mick Appleby Racing Club. Enjoy the fun of seeing ‘your’ horse(s) running, without the worry of expensive racehorse ownership.
Terms and conditions:
The subscription will run for a period of 12 months starting with your first monthly payment. There will be a maximum of 20 members per horse and additional horses will be added when this number is exceeded.
Initially three horses will run under the Club colours: Red Touch, Secret Lightning & Langham
All fully paid up members will receive 5% of any prize monies won by their horse(s) during the period of their subscription (after usual Weatherbys deductions), to be paid at the end of the 12 months.
Mick Appleby reserves the right to substitute the Club horses during the 12 month period.
ALL decisions affecting the running and training of the nominated horses are solely the responsibility of the trainer.
Members do NOT own a share of the nominated horse and have no financial interest other than that stated above.
What does your membership include?
Owners and Trainers badges when your horse runs (where the number of members wishing to attend, exceeds the number of free tickets allocated by the racecourse, reduced price tickets will be available.) Fair distribution of free tickets will be assured at all times.
Use of Owners and Trainers Facilities at the racecourse where the horse is running.
Meet the jockey in the Parade Ring before the race, when the trainer will give him/her final instructions
Enjoy a glass of champagne when the horse wins. Photographs of the horse crossing the line will be available for purchase directly from the racecourse photographer.
Arranged visits to Mick Appleby Racing to meet your horse close up and watch him/her run on the gallop and listen to Mick’s future plans for the horse.
